Adam Tarhouni San Francisco

Adam is a partner at Hakluyt Capital, having joined Hakluyt in 2023, and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including deal origination, diligence, and supporting the fund’s existing portfolio companies.

Prior to Hakluyt, he has worked as an advisor, investor, and operator across a range of industries and geographies. Adam was a consultant at Bain & Co., primarily supporting semiconductor and software clients on strategy, and private equity clients on transaction diligence as well as an investment professional at Sherpa Ventures (now ACME Capital), focused on early stage, B2C investments. After that, he led the corporate strategy function for a multinational energy company based in Dubai. He has also held various political and government roles in Libya both during and following the Arab Spring.

Adam is a graduate of Stanford University.
