Paul Dimitruk New York
Paul is a member of Hakluyt Capital’s investment committee, having been a non-executive director of Hakluyt since 2022. He is also the senior partner of Partners Capital Investment Group, which he co-founded in London in 2001, and which represents over $30 billion of client assets. Paul is responsible for many of the firm’s largest US client relationships, and also for firm-wide risk management, including cyber-security.
Paul is a member of BENS (Business Executives for National Security). Previously, he was chairman and chief executive of Hawker Capital, a global commodities fund; chairman and chief executive of Pareto Partners, an institutional investment manager; group managing director of General Atlantic Group, the holding company for the General Atlantic interests; an executive director and member of the management committee of INVESTCORP, an international private equity firm; and managing partner of the European practice of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a global law firm based in Los Angeles.
Paul is a graduate of NYU School of Law, and a member of the California Bar (inactive). He also holds a BA (Magna Cum Laude) from Denison University, and is a life trustee of Denison. He is the co-founder and former chairman of the Navy SEAL Foundation New England. Previously he has been on the advisory board of the CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies) and a member of the private sector advisory group to the Department of Homeland Security.
