Sammy Alkhatib San Francisco

Sammy is an investment director for Hakluyt Capital, having joined Hakluyt in 2021, and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including deal origination, diligence, and supporting the fund’s existing portfolio companies.

At Hakluyt, he works primarily with AI labs, hyperscaler clients, and large financial sponsors investing in these sectors. Prior to Hakluyt, he spent time at Citi Ventures, the venture investing arm of Citi Bank, where he focused on sourcing and analysing multi-stage investments across financial services and real estate verticals. He began his career working in commercial real estate investments for Prudential Financial.

Sammy has an MSc from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
